About this course
Doing strong work with your boss is the foundation. Getting moved up inside that relationship takes three more things: a record the people who decide can see, a voice they hear when it counts, and access to the room where you are discussed. This course teaches eight Keys for building all three, read across every dimension of the ENRICH Framework (ethnicity, nationality, race, identity, culture and heritage), for ENRICH Outsiders who already work harder and want to work strategically in systems that were not designed with them in mind.
It opens with the ground it stands on: Keys 1 to 9 in one slide, the ENRICH lens, the ENRICH Tax, and the receipts practice. Then eight Keys, each with the idea, a story, the tools drawn as the structures they are, the read across ENRICH, a full case you decide before you hear what happened, a practice on your own work, and the bottom line.
The record: be prepared and organized, for the moment as well as the content (Key 10), and make your accomplishments known, every week, not once a year (Key 11). The voice: seek feedback you can act on instead of praise you cannot (Key 12), decide what undesirable work is your stage and what deserves a no (Key 13), and know when to speak up and when to stay silent, using the 4R Filter (Key 14). The access: be proactive without tripping the wire (Key 15), prove you are trustworthy when trust is read before it is earned (Key 16), and get into your boss's inner circle (Key 17).
It closes with what the Keys can and cannot do, the peer who wants the same seat, the Two-Year Test and how to leave well, the people who held the door for you, and a 30-day plan with one commitment.
Who it is for
- ENRICH Outsiders whose work is strong and whose record, voice or access is not keeping up with it.
- Professionals who are told they are "steady," "too prepared" or "not ready yet" and want to know what that means.
- Managers, mentors and sponsors who want to see how the same behavior is read differently across ENRICH.
Learning objectives and outcomes
By the end of the course you will be able to:
- Prepare for the moment, not only the content. Climb the Credibility Pyramid, anticipate, align and anchor, and recover from an interruption with a line ready.
- Make your work known. Apply the visibility equation, the So What? Test and an amplification network, so credit stays with your name.
- Get feedback you can use. Force specificity, run the three filters, and build feedback that does not depend on someone else's comfort.
- Choose your labor and your voice. Run the four gates before a yes, say no without closing the door, and use the 4R Filter to decide whether and when to speak.
- Move it forward, then make it visible. Use positioning language, the Anticipation Map and the Visibility Loop.
- Build trust and access. Make each part of the Trust Loop visible, use structured legibility, and map the circle before you try to enter it.
- Plan your next 30 days. Leave on your own terms if it comes to that, and commit to one Key, one move, one witness and one date.
What is included
The Participant Booklet is the knowledge companion: every Key with every framework drawn and every dimension of ENRICH in play, and a Quick Reference Guide. The Participant Workbook is where you do the practice for each Key, plus your 30 days and your commitment. The videos tell you when to pause and turn to a page. Nothing you write is collected.
