About this course
Your company cut the program and dropped the word. Your people are still in the room, and who gets heard there was never up to the program.
In 2025 and 2026 the programs came down. Some were renamed, some shrank, some disappeared overnight, and a lot of managers were left believing the work had become optional. It did not. The program was a number, with a budget, an office and a vocabulary, which is exactly why one announcement could cut it. Inclusion was always something else: who hears the news first, who gets invited, whose idea keeps their name, and who gets a second chance after a mistake.
This course takes no side on the politics. It reads the weather and works in it. You learn to read what your organization actually did, to see the five exchanges that decide who stays and who leaves, and to count them on your own team without asking anyone who they are. Every practice in it is open to everyone and held to one standard.
ENRICH (Ethnicity, Nationality, Race, Identity, Culture, Heritage), created by Duane K. Andrews and Sherry M. Jerimie, is the lens under the practice: inclusion that ignores identity is not inclusion, and inclusion that only runs through a program disappears when the program does. You finish with a ninety-day plan that needs no program, no budget and nobody's permission.
Who it is for
- Managers who still run a team after the program was cut or renamed.
- Anyone who controls who they inform, invite, hear, credit and forgive, even with nobody reporting to them.
- Leaders who need a practice that does not depend on a budget or an office.
Learning objectives and outcomes
By the end of the course you will be able to:
- Tell what actually changed. Read whether your organization renamed, reduced or removed the program, and what that means for your career and your people.
- Name the Five Exchanges. Information, invitation, airtime, credit and forgiveness, and the single habit that changes each one.
- Count inclusion without asking who anyone is. Run a two-week count by initials and roles.
- Keep any practice open, same, wide. Three checks that keep the work lawful and usable.
- Make the case without the old vocabulary. Cost it in turnover, risk, talent and market.
- Run a ninety-day No-Program Plan. On your own team, or at your own desk.
